Generator Design to gift local non-profit with free services

Windsor graphic design and advertising agency, Generator Design recently announced details of Generator Cares — an exciting community outreach initiative that awards integrated and comprehensive marketing, design and social media services to a local non-profit.

"Windsor-Essex has supported our business for 20+ years and this is a great opportunity for us to demonstrate our deep commitment to our community and to make a material difference to a local non-profit," said Alan Crouse. "We want to enhance the organization's professional image, magnify their voice within the community, and significantly raise their profile."

Vying for $9,000 worth of services, registered charities and non-profit organizations in Windsor and Essex County can submit their applications online at www.generatorcares.com. The deadline is April 30, 2015 and submissions should include an overview of the agency and a rationale for support. Agencies can increase their odds by inviting friends, colleagues, volunteers and the community to support their application using a variety of social media sites and applications, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+.

"We're donating our time, energy, talents and resources to lend a hand to one of Windsor-Essex's many deserving non-profits," said co-partner Jose Guzman. "We're seeking to make a valuable contribution that will help an area agency effectively deliver their brand message to donors, stakeholders and the community at large".

The successful applicant will receive custom marketing and design solutions that will integrate well with their business practice. Donated services include:

  • Detailed marketing strategy consultation and evaluation
  • $2,500 of design services for marketing promotion e.g. logo, stationery, web
  • Social media evaluation and 3 months of Social Media Management.
  • $500 to be used for the printing of material
