Face To Face Show With Biz X's Deborah Jones, Nov. 14 to 28, 2012

Check out Biz X Publisher Deborah Jones on TVCogeco's Face to Face show with John Fairley, premiering Wednesday Nov 14th at 6:30 pm and 10:30 pm! If you miss it then don't worry, it will be running for two weeks straight. John asked Deborah to be on his show in honour of Biz X's 15 years of publishing and 150th issue (Nov/Dec 2012).

Face to Face with John Fairley is broadcast in over 110,000 households in Windsor and Essex County on TVCogeco, Channel 11 and HD 700.

Show Your Stripes Charity Dinner, Nov. 10, 2012 @ Pointe West.



The second annual Show Your Stripes Charity Dinner supporting carcinoid neuroendocrine cancer research is being held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Pointe West Golf Club. 
 
The evening includes dinner and coffee tasting, a silent auction and raffles.  Proceeds will benefit the Carcinoid NeuroEndocrine Tumour Society of Canada and help promote awareness and research studies for this rare, but devastating cancer.

The 19th Annual 5k Family Fun Run, Walk, or Wheel on Oct. 27, 2012


Family Respite Services invites the public to come out and walk, run, or wheel 5km along the Riverside Trail at Riverside Drive and Huron Church, on Saturday, Oct. 27th, 2012.

This event, sponsored by the University of Windsor Student Law Society, was formerly known as the Ambulance Chaser Run. All proceeds will go directly to families caring for children with disabilities in our community.

Participants are encouraged to dress up as their favourite childhood character. There will prizes for fastest times, best costume, and more. There will also be a 100m dash for the kids and a 100m silly dash for those grown-ups who are kids at heart!

"Wheels On Wyandotte Car & Motorcycle Show" Sept. 15, 2012



Attention all car lovers, check out the 2nd annual "Wheels on Wyandotte Car & Motorcycle Show" on Saturday, September 15, 2012 in the 5400 to 5900 Wyandotte Street East block. Road will be closed for duration of show.

 
Car Registration commences at 10 a.m. and the show begins at 1 p.m. til 4:30 p.m. It is hosted by the Olde Riverside Town Centre.

The theme is the 70s. The show this year will see the introduction of Motorcycles. There will be a cake decorating contest and those interested can contact Michelle Teno-Wachter at 519 973-5438 and a pet contest and the contact for this event is Bridget Scheuerman 519 962-6550. 

 There will be a raffle with prizes of 50" TV, I pad and Detroit Tiger Tickets. Tickets are available  at stores within Olde Riverside and the day of the event. All proceeds from the event will go to the Ronald McDonald House of Southwestern Ontario.
